SU Viewport... Stroke..Dashes..5x..10x...no go
-
LO 2014.....MS Windows 7Pro.
LO.....Select SU Model Viewport...Select Stroke....Dashes(linestyle)....only one dash type stroke/style displays.....and editing the dashes scale (2x...5x...10x) has no effect.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks,
Charlie

I just tried it on a viewport on my Win7 pro machine. I can select any of the line styles--the full list is available--and I can set any scale from the list or type my own. It works the same as for a drawn rectangle.

Thanks Dave,
Maybe try out the attached file when you have a minute.
I cannot seem to get the stroke scale to change....1x....10x same/same.
Maybe it is just on my machine?Charlie

Well, Charlie, I do indeed see it there. I also get Bug Splats when I try to open the SketchUp file from the Context menu. I wonder if you've got a corrupt SU file here.

Dave,
Thanks for looking at this again.Could very well be a corrupt SU file.......I downloaded it from the warehouse....trying to be funny using a golfer...........to illustrate the "strike" problem.
get it.....golfer....stroke not working
..........anyway
I will upload a very basic LO file with a very basic SU model in a little while.
Thanks again,
C

Charlie, my apologies for not getting back to you. I did get your joke.

I don't know why that file you posted exhibited the problem on my machine but files I've created myself don't show it. It is weird.

Thanks Dave........& no problem........I did address only you (my bad to percieve/exclude others)........but.......that aside......thanks for having another look at this.
Not sure about logging as a bug........guess I'll wait a bit and see if anyone else experiences same/similar.
Thanks again,
Charlie

Just a quick update on this.....figured since there weren't any...."yeah me too" replies,
I checked LO 2013 (still installed) on my machine and it behaves the same as I describe above.(LO 2014) (viewport line style/scale fails to display/print properly)Funny I do not recall this behavior in previous versions...and I am fairly certain I have saved .pdf output files to prove that.
Anywho...seems to be a localized situation.
Best,
CharliePS....now to try and understand why last saved SU view seems to randomly populate already assinged/scene specific viewports in LO.
....perhaps another thread on that.......
