Pilou, I didn't make up the name for it.

The thing isn't very wide and seems kind of spindly for two pairs of cheeks to share.

A wooing pair sit side by side, but facing opposite directions: so perching and balanced weight is possible

As you use a French word, "causeuse", maybe "tête-à-tête" will be more appropriate for this special furniture!

Notion of face to face, front to front is more include inside than causeuse!

Thanks John. For that last one I really just wanted the end on view. I like the way the light plays on those diamonds.
