Hi.
Google searching "ati firepro v4800" gave one address that had the product. AMD indicated that this device supports OpenGL 4.2 Looking at your txt document- I may have missed it- there was no mention of OpenGL. That doesn't mean it is not there. The standard suggestions are to try Hardware Acceleration on/off in the Window>Preferences>OpenGL parameters.<
And, you can verify how the card is implemented on your system of course, by going to windows Control Panel and adjusting. While this article may not apply to your case, perhaps you would want to read:

Im using Pro ....
Turned hardware acceleration off and it seems a little better. Mitcorb - I'll read the page you sent shortly to see if there is anything else I can try. Thanks for your help and speedy response.

That sounds like a graphic card/driver issue then. It shouldn't be faster to turn off Hardware Acceleration. Have you tried to update your drivers?

Will try now...

Yeah... The API on SU2013 Make was made slow on purpose, so that we would urge to buy Pro.
Hi Anton, that obviously is untrue, please stop saying it. Thanks!

I found a bookmark regarding the OpenGL/graphics card issues that I should have remembered. This is an excellent reference for a lot of issues:

Thanks - much appreciated. Not got to the bottom of it yet as have been rushing to get something done (typical timing!) but will take a look at the bookmark you sent and see if I can suss it.
Cheers
Updated driver and it had no effect on one (very old and messy) file but another one Im working on now seems to be ok. Will test tomorrow with more time.... -

I was troubling with the same issue, but I've found that it was not arise from driver update. By erasing SectionCutFace plugin the problem was resolved. You may try to examine what plugin cause this.
