    Vray keeps crashing and hanging

      my vray 1.6 in sketchup 2013 pro continuously crashes after a long time of processing the render n some times produces renders with dark patches. please help
      one of the reports goes :

        how much memory is being used during the render process? If you are approaching 4gb of memory usage, the crash is probably due to running out of memory. If you have a 64bit operating system, there is a workaround that will allow you to render and use more than 4gb of ram: http://help.chaosgroup.com/vray/help/sketchup/150PB/distributed_rendering.htm#settings

          would you resolved the dark patches in your render??
          This problem was happening with me... and i can't find solution 😞

            this shouldn't be an issue in 2.0. If anyone is still using the outdated 1.6 BETA version, please upgrade to the latest release. 1.6 was a beta only, was buggy, and was not ready for commercial use.
