Kubica is back to racing!
-
I guess there are just few fans of F1 here, but anyway I want to share my joy that a Polish F1 driver - Robert Kubica won in Subaru Impreza S12 WRC his first short race "Ronde Gomitolo di Lana", after his right arm was severely damaged in a very unfortunate race accident 579 days ago.

Today, after such a long recovery, he is back in a great style to what he really loves!

Good to see himback behind the wheel. Hopefully Lotus will give him a seat next season.
Also worth mentioning that Alex Zanardi won 3 gold medals at the Para-Olylmpics after a dreadful Champ Car accident in 2001 that left him without his legs. What a story and such a competitive individual.

Kudos to both of them!
Robert has almost lost his arm. The surgeon made a great job, saving his life and the hand. -
Robert Kubica's victory today in the WRC 2 category of Rally de Espana was sufficient to clinch the world title in his debut season.

His wants to get behind a wheel of a single-seater. We will see what 2014 will bring.
In the last event of WRC 2013 - Wales Rally GB - he will take part behind a wheel of WRC top level rally car.

It would be awesome to see him back in F1, he had such promise. Pushed a under performing car to the podium on a fair few occasions!
