I want to move a file from desktop to laptop computer in order to work on rendering while away from office. How is that done?

You need both SketchUp and Renderer [licensed?] versions installed on both of these computers.
You'll also need duplicates of your Plugins, Materials and so on on both of the computers.
If the two computers are networked, then you could simply copy the SKP file from one to the other and work on the copy...
If they are not, then you'll need to copy the SKP onto an 'intermediate medium', before getting it copied onto the second computer: there are several methods- you could use a file-hosting website like DropBox, Copy, GoogleDrive etc; copy it onto a large enough usb-memorystick, portable usb-harddrive, burn a CD or DVD etc; or even just 'email' it to yourself, opening the email on the recipient computer... the recipient computer then simply takes a copy of that SKP and you can work on that [don't work on the usb version]....
You'll also need to copy the SKP back to the original computer to keep the two SKPs in sync... -
TIG, Thanks, I used a memorystick and it worked.
