But even the Site Search doesn't filter by author ?
Until Monday (when Rich fixes the search) here is a direct link for use in case of urgent search needs. http://sketchucation.com/forums/search.php

That's got zip to do with the new layout I'm afraid.
New Posts is a search based on recency and what your browser has stored from a previous session. Or there abouts.
Give it a few mins and see if it works.

May I ask you when you logged out before experiencing this?
"New posts" should show the posts that have been submitted since the time of the last visit (the last logout time). I have to admit that in case of the previous design I almost never logged out. But now this new logout icon is so attractive, that I frequently click on it when I leave the forums. Therefore I have a very short new posts list. Might be that your case is similar to mine?

I agree - it looks GREAT...! Congrats...!
I only see a few glitches where there seem to be some inconsistence with some fonts...
I.e. the links in the bottom of the page (Board index, Members) seem to be using a Times New Roman font, while the rest of the site is using Arial/Helvetica...BTW... I'm using Mozilla Firefox v24...
Edit: Now it's a couple of hours since I posted this and the font issue is gone...
Did someone fiddle with the settings somewhere...? -

I wonder if the adverts shouldn't be centered?

Teething problems.
Working on it on and off over weekend. You may notice some issues now and again
