New material from beta BRDF

Hi,
there is new material layer in beta - BRDF material. I have been seeking some informations in the internet but I cant see, whats the diffrence from standard diffuse reflection and refraction map???? -
From what I understand, the BRDF material works just like a V-Ray material in Max and renders faster. Fernando discussed it in his Novedge Webinar that you can watch on Vimeo.

yup, it's just a port of the VRayMtl from V-Ray for 3D Studio Max
