Unwritable SketchUp13If?
-
Find the file.
Select its icon.
Write-click.
Context-menu.
Properties.
Security.
Edit...
Give each of the users/groups listed FULL permissions.
Apply/OK to save the changes. Also check that the containing folder[s] have similar rights??
Also set SketchUp.exe to 'always run as administrator' in the Properties > Compatibility dialog...
-
It is default, full permissions, I did not change anything. I have not any other maps, I did not use this version yet. I had Sketchup 8 before, but I used it very infrequently.
-
Please rephrase.
What 'Maps' ?
The actual file/folder path you refer to is:
C:\ProgramData\Sketchup\SketchUp 2013\SketchUp13.lf
If the file/folder is hidden from you, you might need to change your 'Folder Options' to be able to see it ? -
Is it possible that I get this message because of my hard disc is almost full?
-
Excuse me, not "maps", I mean folders.
-
Is there any solution?
-
Try uninstalling v2013 completely... then reinstalling v2013 from scratch...
Check folder permissions [including Plugins] are FULL...If your Computer has very little spare disk-space I suggest you try some 'house-keeping' to tidy it up...
-
I have reinstalled and installed 5 times everything. I made "housekeeping", now I have free space. But I get this warning anyway all the time. I can continue use Sketchup, it is only irritating. I have not installed any plugins, I did not installed or saved any other folders, it is a brandnew Sketchup Make. Have you any more advice?

Try to start SU with administrator rights. Does this help?
-
How can I do that? I can not choose either at downloading, installing or starting the program. I am the administrator and only user of my computer.
-
Rightclick on the SU symbol, choose properties (?), compatibility (?), start program with admin rights (?)
(Im not shure about the translations, German Win7: see picture)
-
Thank you Cotty, I did it, now it is perfect!
