Managing Layout pages
-
I have developed a set of plans in Layout with about 15 pages in one file. How do I change the order in which the pages appear, and is it possible to rename the pages? If one cannot change these things, I presume I must save each page as PDF, rename, then combine into one PDF. Or what?
Thanks,
Carl. -
Drag the Pages in the Pages tray to reorder
Double click Page name to rename it

Thanks for the quick reply, must admit I had never opened the pages tray, as I thought I could access all the functions through the menu tab.

remember there are many, many hidden functions within Layout... If you want to do something, there is most likely already a way to do it that they have hidden from you. Don't ask why...

BUT: is it only me (Mac M1, Layout 2021, and earlier verisions), that in the "Pages" panel, it doesn't allow to rearrange pages in "miniature/thumbnail" view, but only in "list" view?? This is quite awkward! Rearranging pages being able to see the thumbnails would be veeeery useful (and obvious)!
