I´ve been trying to render now in SU for a while with Vray, it worked during this whole day, until suddenly the rendering window became black , and rendertime was 0. I´ve rebooted the computer and set the options settings to default. But it still won´t render anything. No messeges pop up about this problem. The server at the job haven´t worked at all today, but i don´t think this has to do with it, since my computer could render just a couple of minutes ago.
I´ll have to see and hope things work tomorrow. 😢

Sounds like you changed a setting - though it could be due to so many things.
I'd have a look at the General Switches, Environment, Camera...

Thanks for the fast reply. I can´t find the problem, i´ve switched things on and off, increased and decreased things...

The ruby console says: *Done processing compdefs - Elapsed time: 0.0669999122619629

          Scene processed in 0.348999977111816 seconds
It took 1.52799987792969 seconds to create our xml file*

It doesn´t tell me much 😐 . No matter how much i increase things, the rendertime and the result is the same, a big f*cking black window. 👎

            Tried reloading a default setting?

Is it an interior scene? Exterior?
            Syn/Sky lighting? HDRI? Lights?
            Physical camera?

I've been having the same problem. I tried lights off, materials overriden, no physical camera, minimal render size, nothing would work.
Finally I noticed I had the options set to auto save the render on the server path (which is not my machine). This was working before, but I guess if the ip adress changes(or something network related, I'm not an IT expert) vray just doesn't know where to save the file, and produces this kind of bug. No error message, no log entry, nothing besides a black render which is proccessed extremely fast.

I guess this may not be the only cause, but it worked fine with me.
                Hope it helps.

                Cheers!
