Often when exporting as obj. (with the plugin for free version) the UVs will get warped.
      See images below.

I'm not using the SketchUV plugin. Just plain SU.
It mostly happens when textures are scaled/rotated. I never distort or shear (obj. doesn't support that)
Anyone else getting these issues? Can it be fixed?

(Searched the thread for obj. exporter but couldn't find it)

Model in SU - everything looks fine

If you rotate, scale -1 [mirror] objects etc, then it can cause issues with UV mapping when translated to OBJ UV mapping. Try exploding the objects and regrouping...

Thanks. But I always explode everything before exporting. Not sure what regrouping is...

So if everything is exploded into raw geometry then there should be no issues. 😕

Have you tried using Model Info > Statistics > Purge AND Fix issues...
In case there are overlaid faces etc ?

The only time I've seen this weirdness before, is when a group or component has been rotated and scaled -1 [mirrored/flipped/handed] several times so that it's transformation is somewhat muddled and the code trying to replicate the UV mapping from the original to match it in the OBJ gets befuddled...

Nothing to purge and no problems found.
The textures have been rotated very simply - in this case - about 45 degrees.
Some of the issues are with geometry that was rotated as components (and then exploded)
but others are not. I don't see a pattern.
