Project texture map to back side??

Hi there. Is there a plugin that automatically projects the UV mapped texture to the back side? There are times when I struggled hard to UV map face, Then I needed to project the same
on the back side just so I could use a transparency map on it,. If I just flip the face and apply the same map , and then flip it back. the mapping is lost and texture gets jumbled.
