Layer organization

Hi folks,
could be very interesting the have the possibility to embed layers: for ex:
building structures \ walls
\ slabs
\ columns \ concrete
\ steel
what do you think about?
in my opinion, could be really cool! -
You know about the layers in SketchUp (Windows -> Layers)?

I'm currently working on a new Layers window where you'll be able to have groups like in Photoshop. (It's actually very similar to Photoshop's layer window)

When perfected, this will be an extremely valuable tool for large models. It has been needed (at least by me) for a long time.

Since it's my first plugin, even my first experience with ruby, and it's rather ambitious, I may need some help. Anyway, I'll probably open a new topic soon to discuss the behaviour of the plugin.
