      Hi,

Can anyone help? I have created a model where I seem to of created a component twice for the same drawn entity (in the component window the same drawn entity appears twice). Is there a way to remove one of these instances without deleting the actual drawn entity?

This is causing a problem when I try to use the cutlist plugin.

      Any help much appreciated.

      Cheers,

      Dan

Dan, which component is it? You ought to be able to find it in the Outliner and delete it there.

By the way, why did you create the tenons on the legs as a separate group and not make a component of the entire thing? Or is that your problem? The leg wouldn't show up in the cutlist but the tenon would as a group. In that case, explode the group making the tenon and the leg will show.

Also, while you're at it, explode the component called Foot #1. There is no need to have the Table Top Brace component nested as you have it.

I found you had the "Braces" as two separate components. One was called Brace 2 or something. It looks like you drew them independently instead of copying one and flipping it.

I've had another poke through the rest of your model and cleaned it up so it should make a nice cut list. You could compare the outliner in your copy of the file to this one.

I fixed the issue with the braces by deleting one and replacing it with a copy of the other. I also corrected the reversed faces on the table top planks and, because the two outside and two second planks are identical, I replaced planks 4 and 5 with copies of planks 1 and 2.

I didn't change any dimensions but you might want to do so on the legs anyway.

By the way, I have plugs set up to fall into the Parts section of the cut list so they don't show with the lumber.
