Thanks for this nice response already! so i have got it this far till now (see attached picture) but i am still struggling on how to get it over the armrest and on the top. because the one i want to make is not fabric or leather but an polycarbonat shell. thanks!

I have edit the model a little bit further, and made some quick renders aswell.
So i think this will be my final update on this one.

Transparency of materials is lost on the background.
Try moving the chair towards the plastered wall so we can see the reflection of the exterior while being able to understand its form.

Is this rendered in Vray for sketchup? Would you be so kind to share me this file if its not asking too much. I particularly like the floor material and your render settings.
