How would u draw a shell for this chair?

Dear Sketchucationers!
Yet another face for you to greet! My name is Frank van Halteren, i am (almost) 23 years old and i live in The Netherlands. I am currently following a study Interior&Design wich i am almost done with. I have been using Sketchup for a couple of years now. I have been using it mostly for drawing interior rooms and render them with Vray.
For the last six months, I have developed a great interested in modelling furniture. I am following an internship in Italy at the moment. I have come across a problem about how to model a shell for a chair design.
I have been using the following plugins, Artisan and joint push pull but thus far i havent been able to create the proper form yet. The shell i want to make is from an existing chair model called Paulistano chair (see image). The measurements are different from the original though. The shell has to be the same shape but then for the new frame.(shell thickness is about 5mm) and the shell is going to fall over the armrests and click over the frame. i will add the file of the frame.
Hopefully you can provide me with some workflow of how you would do this, or give me some usefull tips. I am new to modelling furniture and i am eager to learn! thanks in advance.
Greetings,
Frank van Halteren

I modeled one a while ago, here are some pictures I have for now . It's mostly about visualizing the final product.
You can start from flat surfaces, draw a rectangle for the seating and one for the back, then start subdivinding the surfaces and make them organic. After this step use JPP to push/pull the surfaces . You can now round the edges and cut the fabric at the corners as needed, then run Artisan or SDS .
Edit.
Did a fast recreation to show you what I was talking about .

Hey!
Thanks for this nice response already! so i have got it this far till now (see attached picture) but i am still struggling on how to get it over the armrest and on the top. because the one i want to make is not fabric or leather but an polycarbonat shell. thanks!

Thank you!
I have edit the model a little bit further, and made some quick renders aswell.
So i think this will be my final update on this one.

Transparency of materials is lost on the background.
Try moving the chair towards the plastered wall so we can see the reflection of the exterior while being able to understand its form.

Is this rendered in Vray for sketchup? Would you be so kind to share me this file if its not asking too much. I particularly like the floor material and your render settings.
