      Hi All,

Another newbie type question. I can't seem to find a shortcut item listed for 'Reverse Faces.' Is there a way to assign that command to a shortcut key (or a button of some sort?)

      Thanks!

      Chipp

        1. right click on a face to display the context menu
        2. dismiss that (click outside)
        3. Windows | Preferences | Shortcuts
        4. filter: reverse

          Hi Chipp,

In order to assign a shortcut key to Reverse Faces, you need to have at least one face selected. Once selected, open the Shortcut dialog, and Reverse Faces will now be in the list.

          Hi

To expand this: every tool that needs a pre-selection to work with can only be assigned a shortcut key (meaning that it will appear in the shortcut list) when soemething (in this case obviously a face) is selected.

                1. right click on a face to display the context menu
                  2) dismiss that (click outside)*
                2. Windows | Preferences | Shortcuts
                3. filter: reverse

                Choose Edit...Reverse Face

*Don't do step 2. In order for context menu items to show in the Shortcuts list, it would have to show in the context menu if you right click and if a face isn't selected, it won't show in the context menu.
