Plug Hole?

Is there an easier way to plug the hole in the example with out playing triangle stitch?

hard to tell exactly what you have there but from where i'm sitting.. window select the hole and delete it..
.. redraw one of the face's edge if the surface happens to delete as well..

Maybe Add faces by Tig then Clean Up By Thomthom
(or maybe Clean Up has also something like fill hole)

I would do what Jeff suggests. No plugins needed. Works on 3D holes, too.
