Smooth camera paths

Hey guys & girls,
As i'm sure you can guess from the title I'm looking for a plugin that creates smooth camera paths/keyframes/timings, etc. I have searched the forums and found quite a few topics relating to this but they all appear fairly old and I feel I could possibly have missed out on some developments that may have happened in the interim period.
All I want to do is be able to produce decent looking animations without the trademark sketchup jerkiness, the way it appears to "bounce" along a path as it reaches each view is not a look I'm going for!
What are the latest developments in this area? Any help is much appreciated.

That really isn't particularly helpful given the sheer number of plugins, is it? Especially given some of their cryptic names in certain cases. Creating a screengrab, cropping it, uploading and posting it almost certainly took more time than "check out x plugin by x".

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the animation plugins and I was given the impressions you found it hard to get an overview of the plugins here. Not everyone knows about the index.
Since you said you'd looked at a few, but found them too old (does that really matter?) but didn't really say which ones you've tried it's also not easy to give specific alternatives.
