Shortcut for measurements ?
-
Is it possible to setup a shortcut that would set cursor in lower right measurements area to input a dimension ?
-
No. But then again, there's no point in doing that. If you are doing something that allows a dimension or a distance to be entered, you just type and the value appears there. You do not click in the box to make it active as you might for other text boxes. If the background of that box is white, you can enter numbers there.

OK ... I see, thought I had to click in the area.
You need to set a direction first with cursor/drawing,
before inputting a dimension, right?Just playing around waiting for a book to come in.
Thanks

Yes, you'll start with the cursor to provide the direction, let go of the mouse and type the distance or dimension followed by hitting Enter.

Thanks much for your help.
I'll probably be back.
