Rp Treemaker has failed

Rp Treemaker has spontaneously failed and will not re-install. Get a "Base" install error message.
Using the newest Trimble version.
Any suggestions? I love this plug-in.

Are you sure this is a bug in SketchUp? It sounds like it's more probably an issue with Windows or the plugin.
Can you give us the real error message?
Have you tried to install the plugin as administrator?

I don't what caused it except it just stopped working. The only thing that changed was an update to the Trimble version.
The error message says it failed to load plug-in and an associated DLL.
I cannot replicate the message as I took Rp out of the plug-ins folder as a last ditch attempt to re-install.
I have tried installing it as an admin. Ver 1.05. (I think)
The install error message says "Base" is not allowed and then fails.

Does the error message identify the DLL? Perhaps you could search for that and delete it? I'd be inclined to do that, clean the Registry and then try installing it again as administrator.

FWIW, I'm going to download it and install it to see what happens for me. If it was working and then quit, I doubt it's a bug in Sketchup. I'll let you know what I get.
Edit to add: I've downloaded and install the program. It seems to work just fine with no crashing. Have you recently installed any other programs (maybe not SU related) that might have monkeyed with the DLLs?
