      Hi all,

Do you know components to scale groups or components such as a movie?
The idea is to be able to specify specific dimensions.
Unfortunately the plugin from the movie, I can not find it.

      Regards,

Perhaps Fredo's Scale ? Search the SCF Plugins Index...

There are three basic ways to change the 'sizes' of parts of a group/instance.
Scale it axially using a factor - e.g. type 1.5 and it's 1.5 times bigger than its former length in that axis
Scale it axially using a dimension [add a units suffix so it's recognized as not being a factor] - e.g. type 1.5m and it's now 1.5m long, irrespective of its former length in that axis.
Edit it, then Select the parts you want to relocate and Move them a fixed distance with axial locking [shift], inference etc. Use snapping to other objects or Guidelines etc to assist you.

If the group/instance is made of logically formed sub-groups/instances it makes changing individual parts mush simpler...

The 'fourth way' involves a scripted solution - like FredoScale - which can scale/relocate selected parts of a group/instance etc. There is nothing that it does that couldn't be done manually, using enough patience, forethought and ingenuity - it just makes some complex operations easier... πŸ˜‰
