Select corner of unique geometry, plugin
-
Greetings fellow SketchUp users.
I am trying to find a plugin that could select the corner/edge of unique geometry. We all know how easy it is to select the edge of a square/cube geometry/plane because the edge is already there. But what about circle plane, or sphere, or unique geometries like designer sofa (one such as Zaha Hadid's sofa design)? The purpose is general (eg. sync axis location, move according to edge of axis, scale geometries, etc). Here's one example:
I am trying to sync axis location of this one model I pulled from Warehouse.

in this image, I am moving the model visually (manually) so that the lower left corner of the whole item to match the axis.

If there's a plugin to assist selecting side or corner of unique shaped models, it could help in other plugins as well such as Fredo Scale.
