Tool Bar Lock?

Is there a tool bar lock so when ever I download a new tool it doesn't get all messed up or some other way to keep it from happening?thx

Hi,
Sometimes when I open Sketchup, it starts in a minimized window and the toolbar is messed up. If I maximize the window and select "Restore toolbar Position" nothing happens. I have to set up the toolbar manually again.
Has anyone ever observed the same behavior?

The restore function seems to not work any more and the save option takes so much time that I give up.
I hope locking the toolbars will be a must for**Trimble** -
I've not experienced either of those issues.
and yes you need V8 to save toolbars.
