    Hi

I have downloaded WELD plug in from SMUSTARD COM. Something close to Auto CAD comand PEDIT (makes poliline). But I have a problem. When I push these surface from these new WELDED perimeter, I have no edges represented in new 3D object- attachement. Why, is there any other plug in to join edges into one poliline and to have these major connecting points retained?

This is normal behavior for the program. If you have softened edges, use Control+Shift+Eraser tool to harden. Or select the menu command for soften smooth edges and set the slider in the interface to taste. Make your selection first.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

recurve won't join any lines with an angle greater than one radian..

The easy fix is to not select edges that you don't want included in the welded polyline.

that's what's sweet about recurve.. you only have to select one edge then use the 'select curve & recurve' option... it will then select all the other appropriate segments automatically and join them.

it's in the right-click context menu.. right click on one of the segments then ---
