@massimo said: Alex Roman is really one of the best and that video is really amazing Agree with you there! @unknownuser said: ...Sadly I'm not absolutely close to him though. Don't agree with you there mate!

I would have easily put money on the images being photos

Great renders but equally great composition and shooting angles. Love the scratches as well!

 Thanks again guys, really appreciated.

@massimo said: Thanks guys. @unknownuser said: is a odd behaviour of Thea with the out of focus areas, some metal reflections look crisp and fake Really? I see nothing really odd in the reflections... Anyway did not compared different render methods. That was TR1, I'll make a comparison with different presets. For me those look a bit like non-conversed caustics from the filament trough glass (needs render longer or use TR2/render longer). Perhaps using "Super sampling = High" would average them a bit (if not used). Still, these are fantastic renders, so real.

Thanks Pentti. @unknownuser said: For me those look a bit like non-conversed caustics from the filament trough glass Yeah I agree. That shot was rendered with TR1 preset with supersampling = high for long.
 I'll try with TR2.

Fantastic image, Massimo! I love this one, instead , and thanks to your inspiration, I think I'll go for modeling and rendering it!
Here is a nice catalog from artemide, with the images of the lamps, and dimensions.
