    Hello all,

This is my first time posting and I apologise if there is an answer to this question elsewhere on here but I couldn't find it if there is.

I'm reasonably new to SU and i'm trying to render coloured shadows from stained glass. I did find one thread (http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=19778&start=45 ) where people were attempting to render stained glass but to be honest a lot of it was over the top of my head. I did like the look of many of final results in the thread though if anyone knows how to achieve this or if it is even possible in vray. Any info on basic material and render settings would be greatly appreciated, I'm currently rendering scenes with Vray.

    Thanks

We have a V-ray subforum down the road - I am moving your question there...

If you notice, I posted one image with vray. You have to use the color map in a refraction layer to get the coloring effect to occur.
