    The challenge was swarf (metal shavings from drilling). The result was ❓

      Very interesting in its own right. Call it "Zest of Sky". I like the colors and the lighting. I suppose if you tweak down the smooth/soften, it would approach the texture(?)of shaved metal. Or would there be linear scoring along the ribbon?

      I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

          Thanks gents, it's more experimenting than anything else. I'm reviewing MoI3D for CatchUp and the workflow between SketchUp means the impossible is now possible.

          The mesh was so dense that I just added Thea's default displacement material and went to bed. 6hrs later I got this weird result.

            Just googles it looks good! Do you have a tablet or just use the mouse?

            Organics is the way to go just bought a book on Zbrush from Amazon now just need to buy Zbrush lol.

                        Nice πŸ‘ Having been a CNC machinist for a number of years, it seems like the edges should be sharp, not rounded. Just an observation.
