Video editing software?
-
Hello good people.
Anyone know any good and cheap (preferably free) video editing software?
I am (rather geekily) recording a second of footage for every mile I run un my marathon training. I am at my wits end with Windows Movie Maker and then, in desperation, Movie Maker Live. It keeps saying it can't read the files, they need fixing, the file could be corrupt etc etc etc. They aren't. There all fine. Only does it once I start going over 60 seconds of film, too.
I just need to edit clips, and add some text for each second of the film, i.e. 1m > 2m > 3m etc. Nowt fancy really.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

Windows Movie Maker? (seriously, it should be just fine for these "amateur" recordings).

I've tried but it's making want to go jump in the river. There seems to be errors with it whenever the files gets over a certain size.

Wax it's free !
And the other prog are cool too -
Just had a thought, my problems with WMM might be something to do with the way I convert them from .3gp.
Will have a play.
And thank-you for the WAX link, Pilou.

I used a lot "Camtasia Studio". It is powerful, intuitive, friendly…, and convenient regarding price.
