I forgot what Plugin does this
-
I remember reading about a Plugin that allows you to copy a component along a curve, but of course I cannot remember what it was called. Can somebody help me out?
Sometime during the long and boring Michigan winter I'm going to take a week (or two) and just go thru all of the Plugin's and make a searchable database that includes a concise description (one that I can understand) of what each does, so I won't have to ask dumb questions like this anymore .

Component stringer?

That's the one!
Where did that Word doc come from? Is it up to date? I'll have to see if I can modify it to include a meaningful (and understandable) description for each one. That's the only way it will do any good for me, the Plugin names frequently aren't all that helpful. Jeez, it's been years since I worked with databases, I doubt some of the ones I used to work with will even work with Win7. Well, Spring is a long time off, plenty of time to play with it.
Thanks ever so much!

looks like a very good index, Peter.
don't forget to share the improved index you'd like to make, Steve
those wizard thingies are the goodies that very difficult to understand sometimes -
I downloaded the index here in Sketchucation. I know not where. The author in the doc is "KHA"
Check the date as regards how current it is, and no index is complete anyway. Good luck.

I don't know how the list compares. But if HNB is going to make himself a database, a Word doc with many listed plugins and authors might be a quick way to start his data input. He wants a cheat sheet that explains the USE next to the NAME I think.

Hi Edson,
i know that one too. from Dave R tutorial or something. on making a lawn chair or deckchair.
i think the pathcopy.rb have a little flaw that it might leave some components unaligned to the path.
component stringer by the exhibit shows that it has the ability even to modify the alignment.
don't know for sure.
