    Hello,
Is it possible to have different sheet/paper sizes in the same file (mix letter & tabloid)?
    Layout v 2.1

    Thanks,
    Glenn

Afraid not - you can change the page size and orientation [L/P] in the document's settings... but it applies to all pages in the Layout document.
Layout assumes you are printing a set of pages in a document, most likely binding them, so a consistent page size orientation is logical.
A workaround is to make two similar Layout docs linked into the same SKPs etc [I'd copy one and remove unneeded pages], in the second one use the alternative lesser used page setup.
Use blank placeholder pages in the main set where you will insert these odd sized pages...
When you come to publish the document interlace the oddly sized pages with the main set, discarding the unneeded blank placeholder page.
If you are using a PDF format you can get freeware tools [e.g. http://www.pdfill.com/ ] to combine/reorder/delete PDF pages to achieve this...
      Here's a very simple example LayoutA4+A3.pdf

        Thanks Tig,
Good idea for the blank placeholder pages.
I used the 2-separate-layout idea yesterday (when my project was due). Then sent my client one pdf with letter in the name & one with tabloid.
It worked out, thought there might be a quick way in layout.
oh well, I can be soooo lazy at times!!!

          Hi everyone!
It's been 5yrs after last post on this topic. Is there any improvement in achieving different paper sizes in the same Layout file? Is this possible?

            erm, no, unfortunately

I'm hoping this happens in the new update due sometime later this year

Sad thing. I hope it will change in the future. Thanks for the answer anyway! Cheers!
