      Hello,

When drawing a house plan drawing in Autocad it is very simple to draw one line equal to the house width and then simply offset that line according to where each wall etc will be located.

After doing the same thing from the house length and finally cropping the superflous lines one can create most 90 degree walls in the house in very little time.

How is this done in google sketch?
I.e how does one Offset a single line a certain distance?

I find that the offset tool does not work for lines in google sketch.

      Thanks in advance

      Nils

Offset works for the outer edges of a face,
It also works on two or more selected connected edges.
But not on one 'lone edge' - to do that use Move+Ctrl to copy it is the direction desired, using Shift to lock its direction from inference/axis.
