Drawing arc on a cylinder
-
So, I'm attempting to draw an arc on the outside of a cylinder, but since SU makes both the arcs and cylinder out of lines, the two do not match up and some of the arc is outside, some inside, of the body of my cylinder. Is there a fix for this or just some way with which I am not familiar?
Thanks

Tools on Surfaces is a good choice. You could do it with native tools by drawing an arc as a 'D' shape and extruding that through the cylinder. Then delete the flat side and use Intersect Faces to create the intersection. Delete the rest of the extrusion and you'll be left with the arc on the cylinder.
