Awesome!!!!!
-
AWSOME ! SPEECHLESS!!! Great modelling!
-
That is soooo cool, nice job! If you don't mind me asking, what rendering program are you using? Again because it needs to be said again, nice job!
-
Whoa, thats impressive
-
That is some amazingly detailed modeling.
Always the boat models have the high detail on this site!
-
Seriously, why do I click on your posts? I get so discouraged.
All kidding aside, great as usual. Damn, but you should be getting paid by some Naval historical association/museum/university to do these!
-
That is shit hot!
-
Awesome work! Just the hull of the this beauty scares me half to death!
-
-
Thanks Guys!
@ Aaronfeld, im Using 3ds max 2010 to render with only a plane and a skylight
@ Bryan K, I wish that would be nice Indeed!
Heres a little Update :Added many Lines mostly for the Sails Furled Model as VSF does not support moving Ropes yet
-
how many segments on average do you have for the lines:
-
Liam887, I am using and Avarage of 12 Segments with 3 sided Circles for the long curved lines, and single 3 sided for the straight ones.
The seperation of the Main Deck was not an easy one, there will be 2 models of this deck , one with Guns Stowed and one at quarters with all furniture and Paneling stowed below. This is still just a basic detail of the Main Deck, there are still many Items to be added.
-
Flawless and fantastic. Any chance of seeing some hidden geometry?
-
Thanks, Ill get a render for you asap
More details added, still much more to do on this Deck but its getting there : -
Tried to get some renders with the Exterior Opacity set on 50% and seperate lighting for the interior, Will still need to fiddle with that in max, didnt quite work out
Here are some renders with the top deck removed along with all the Parts above the Gun Deck.
-
Dang!!
Y'all South Africans are a talented modeling bunch, Silvershadow, underdog, you.
The amount of detail achieved with low poly modeling is brilliant.
