Certainly can be achieved with SU, just keep your poly count down, use components and model in symmetry.

Does SU stand for - Sketch Up.I am starting to find more out about Google Sketch Up like reading about it ect and finding these great pictures i wish i can build them or sort of the same with my designs and colors ect.

Downloading some 3D warehouse models to see how they were built might also be a good idea.

You're likely to become overwhelmed attempting such a model if you're new to SU. I would suggest starting out with something a little simpler (like maybe a rowboat?
). Just a suggestion.
