Im having a problem where im intersecting a TIN with a grouped component and a rectangle. After performing the intersection, the rectangle has not properly intersected with the TIN and model (i.e. when i select it, the whole rectangle is selected).

Does anyone know of a plugin or an easy way to find where in the geometry is causing the intersection error? (- i dont think the procedure itself is wrong as the same process worked in another project an hour ago - it seems its just something wrong with the geometry!!)

      Thanks

      Chris

Best thing would be to attach the model.
Most likely there's nothing wrong and in any case it will be easier to explain when seeing what you are trying to do.

          My favorite is Stray Lines:

          favicon

It labels all lines that do not meet up with another line, and that is what is going on in your model. Download that, then run it and it will show each little broken spot. You might have to zoom in very very close to see the problem. But once you see the line that is not meeting up, just connect it and it should work.

Though if it is too small, SU will not let you draw it. You'll have to figure out a way around that if it comes up.

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
