Help please - how to get rid of ruby button
-
I get a ruby button on a sketchup startup that's used to update fredo plugins. how can i get rid of that button?

Click on it and let it check for updates. By default it won't check again for 15 days. You could also change the interval to something longer under Window>LibFredo settings>Default Parameters.

hmm... brings up a good point. Might be worth by Fredo to make it more button like - to invite user action. As it looks like some random graphic...

I did like the way it would check for updates, very handy, I wish all were that way, but many don't need to be. and I think well of the way he provided this for his scripts shows meticulous manner. It did notice it popup more often than every 15 days but I am glad it is as I use them a lot thanks Fredo6.
PS just wondering if some have installed a script that makes a "bing in WIN XP if you select or delete a edge or face" had this problem before but couldn't remember how to work a round?

The Check For Update service is actually opened to any script writer, not just mine and does not require that those scripts depend on LibFredo6 at all.

The actual delay is set up in the Check For Update dialog box (The default Parameter value is simply the initial default)
Fredo
