I recently purchased a new computer and changed from a vista system to windows 7. When I try to draw a line, pick the line command, and before it is active I get a series of blue triangles when I move the courser.

The triangles disappear when I zoom or move or rotate. Very disturbing. By the way, I also installed a new nvidia graphics card model GeForce GT 520, could the card be the problem? I did not have this problem before I bought the new computer and installed the new graphics card.

      Thanks in advance,

      Sonny Perschbacher

Sounds like a Graphics card issue.
If you disable it under preferences what happens ?
Have you got the most up to date drivers for it?
That card might be a bit 'light-weight' - comments invited?

Hi Sonny, Well, TIG was faster but seems to conclude the same:

first of all (to check if it is a graphic card/driver issue - which I am pretty sure is), turn off hardware acceleration under Window > Preferences > Open GL.

If it "seems" to solve the problem, I would first try to update the video driver. These cards generally come shipped with some old drivers installed and a driver update usually helps.
