Anything out there like that? I'm a former CAD user, and missing that "revision cloud" line type that was often used to represent a tree line in plan.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I guess you could have a couple of components with such texture added to them if I correctly understand what you mean.

If you look at my 2dTools 2dFreehand tool it does much of what you want - although it draws connected edges at preset distance increments like 1".
To make a 'rev-cloud' version you simply make the distance increments bigger and draw arcs between the points... when the end point is the start point the tool stops... ๐Ÿค“

Yes, and unfortunately there are really no 'linetypes' in sketchup. The revCloud plugin, http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=337237#p337237, is close but the arcs are all the same not what you would normally draw for a tree or treeline. Maybe it could be modified to add some randomness.

Nothing is worthless, it can always be used as a bad example.

The segment size sets the minimum size if you move fast enough you get larger arcs...Capture.PNGYou can also set the segment length on the fly...
