      hello,
I m stuck on the design of a paper board roof that is supposed to be slightly bended into a HP plane. so all the sides are straight but since they are not parallel the plane in between is bend. So what i need to do is pretty much taking a group (which is the roof divided in vertical paper structures) and move the edges of the roof into a non parallel plane.

      HOW????

I tried it with shape bender but it bends the edges aswell. any one an idea? a plugin? help πŸ˜„

      best regards, joscha

ExtrudeEdgesByRails ? where you make the four sides as divided edges > curves [use weld etc]...Capture.PNG

The resultant mesh is a group.
You need JointPushPull to add thickness to it...
If it's to be coffered then perhaps EEbyLattice could do it for you in one step...

We are good but your cryptic clues are not clear.
Can you attach images [or SKPs] of what you get and what you want ?
It might be that you actually need to do some work making this form and that plugins will only help you a certain distance along the road.
With a little more detail I sure we can advise you how to do this...
