Is there a plugin that allows rendering sectional views. Zorro 2 is not an option 'coz it takes a lot of time when the model is large. Moreover, it deletes geometry, which I don't want to happen.

My SectionCutFace tool does work... BUT because you can't export the SKP's SectionPlanes to external renderers you can't see the cut's faces, since the rest of the model is then in the way ! [It works fine in a SKP render though!!]

However, there is a way to do this...
Look for Zorro2 - if fact there's a parallel thread to this - so practice using the Search facility top right and read up there...

The Zorro2 tool lets you 'cut' a model along a section-plane and then group/hide or erase the unwanted half of the model.
Remember to work on a copy SKP, because it is a 'destructive' process.

Used in conjunction with SectionCutFace the Zorro2 tool then allows you to render a section successfully... πŸ€“

Is there a way I can use sectioncutface for vray? I don't want to use zorro since it will take a lot of time for pseudo destroying my model for this plugin.
