      Hi,

I would like to create a net with 3-ways connected tube (as shown in picture).

I have tried follow me tool but it seems like it can't follow the line that branches out to two different directions.

Can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks!

I assume you mean to give thickness the the 'edges' ?
If all edges form faces [use a style with profiles 'on' so you can see what is unfaced or at an outer edge more easily] you can use RickW's Windowizer.rb or my LatticeMaker.rb etc to add 3D solid neatly joined 'frames' to the edges.
These will be rectangular: if you want 'tubes' then find Didier Bur's 'line2cyl.rb' that will take selected edges [even unfaced ones] and add cylinders along them - but they won't join neatly...
It depends what you are after........

          Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply. I modified the picture a little.

As you can see, I want to make the edges become tubes. The faces should be deleted, which mean hollow eventually. Ultimately it will become like a piece of fishnet lying on the floor.

I hope I have made myself clearer this time.

Really appreciate for all the helps given. Thanks! πŸ˜„

Hi, just to add on. You may want to understand this model as a "chain-linked fence", just that it is 3 ways connected and the sizes of each hexagon is not in equal. Thanks!
