Need Roof Help!

Hello,
Can anyone help me with adding a cable roof onto my model? I think I went about the whole model the wrong way (in the wrong order at least) and now I am at a loss as to how to figure out to get the sides of the roof lined up correctly on the opposite sides of where the trusses are. Theoretically, I would like the roof to have a pitch of 4:12. I think it's 'close' but not exact. The great truss component I found wasn't exactly that pitch, so now I am having difficulties with the roof!

I would like the rafters (I think that's what they are called) to come out farther than they are right now and have the roof sit on top of those.

Any suggestions?
