I needed a curve simplifier and started looking around for a plugin; and after some wasted time realized I already had Thom's Edge Tools installed which has a great curve simplifier. I can't keep track of all the plugins, let alone what functions each has.

So I started wondering if an it would be useful if there were an index of plugins listed by function:

    • Simplify Curves ->Edge Tools [link]
    • Find a center point -> Centrpoint finder [link]

    etc.

If I set up a Google Spreadsheet, is would anyone help? The spreadsheet would then be used to generate html files, or even have its own post here.

    Hi

I could fill out my plugins in that sheet.

Wonder if we could develop a scheme where one extract the Menu and Command data into a cheatsheet... I have an experimental hack that let you hook into Menu hierarchy and Command data.

(btw, I need to upload an update to Edge Tools to handle curves that forms a loop.)

The future of delicious is unknown at the moment as Yahoo is ditching it.

Yes, so I have heard. I don't believe it's going away, though.

There is a clear need for some way to comprehend the plugin world - it's too complex at the moment. I know you guy recognize this, and I'm looking forward to what you come up with. Delicious is a good service that has some nice features, but isn't the best solution.

                      Hi

there are hundreds of the social bookmarking sites... some are just more successful than others while others are taken over by groups of people who guide the link ranking to their liking.
