    Hello to everyone!
I was wondering if anyone can help me on asmall problem I 'm having! I am using SU as my prime design software but I like designing objects like furniture, plants, vases etc with modo401. My issue is that when I import a file whitch is not subdivided it comes out neat in SU, but for the models I subdivide to achieve the geometry I like, the model comes out really bad! I don't know what am I doing wrong!
I tested it in both SU 7.1 & SU 8.
I 'd really like to combine these two amazing software!
    Thanks in advance!

Why not just share your solution here? I'm intrigued

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp 📖

You are right!I am really sorry, it didn't sound as intended.
Well, what "the smack" (ME) did wrong was pushing TAB to see if my geometry was correct and anytime I liked it, I exported the model to dae so that I could import it to SU. What I should have done was push D to subdivide the model, (TAB only gives preview of the subdivided geometry) thats why it kept on delivering the undivided model.
          Kind of embarrassing actually!!!!
The thing now is that the dae file is quite big in MB. For instance the sofa you saw attached is 10.8 MB and without any texture. Guess that my inquiry is not over after all!!!!
