I have a face that when I extrude it, I don't get a solid. Any idea how I can find the "gap" or what ever is stopping it from making a solid? I'm running ver. 8.

When you extrude the face in this model, and create a component from the result, the component is not solid.

      Have fun...

        Hi Dik,

Check out ThomThom's Solid inspector plugin. I found a couple of flaws with it (there are edges that do not extrude with your shape)

[tip]- when using the script, i find it best to use x-ray view then use the tab key to cycle through the errors..
