Sketchup 8 for Mac issue

Hello,
Just went from version 7 to 8 today on my mac, and the paint bucket only brings up crayon colors...no other materials or a way to browse. Can anyone help?

works fine for me but I am running snow leopard. perhaps you should upgrade too.

Not sure what the problem is but I can confirm it isn't the OS.
Works fine with 10.5 here. -
i'm wondering if you might of inadvertently closed the palette's toolbar..
click the little button at the top_right as shown in this screenshot.
