[Plugin] DefaultScenes
-
A very basic plugin that creates 7 default scenes (one for each standard Viewpoint)
When executed again, the scene camera is updated to zoom the complete model (in case elements have been added)
Accesable through the plugins menu.Update version 1.1:
Top-bottom-left-right-back-front are in parallel projection
ISO is perspective -
Thanks Pout - will give it a try
-
Poutastic !
thank you Reinhart, great job.
-
you are already a star : http://news.sketchucation.com/plugin-defaultscenes/
-
could you add : zoom extent to each views ?
please ?merci mon ami !
-
ok, since I am asking for things, all views but "Iso" should turn camera into "Parallel Projection"
ISo is a Perspective.
-
seems like there is a bug hidding some of the drawing when changing views...
-
Hey Bertier,
I'll look into the questions! That is if i find some time...
Normally the zoom extents should already work. If you have added elements, run the plugin again and it must show all elements. So in short:
- all except ISO in parallel projection
- can you send me a screenshot of the bug you are talking about?
-
Version updated to 1.1
-
big up thank you
-
works just fine !

Thanks, my regexp was missing a option. Should be updated soon.
-
If there are any additional suggestions, please let me know.
Btw Jim, thx for adding me!
-
yes, i was thinking of one... ..the views controlled by the axis - that way one could make default views in different orientations.
-
Hey Cadfather,
can you explain a bit more? Thx
-
yes, supposed you have a wall face at an angle, and you'd like the views to be referenced to that - if default scenes 'knows' the axis, then you can right-click on the wall face, 'align axis' and then run default scenes to get the orthographic views aligned to it.
let me know if still unclear and i'll screen something up.. ..i get confused by myself..
-
So you mean like this:
When the axis have changed, ignore the default views of Sketchup and create the views based upon the new axis. So that the front is front for the new axis and not teh original SU one?
-
Yes Pout.. that is it!
