Netherlands are at least lucky with ninja de Jong and Robben's ball kick, not to be with 8 players early.
So the ref does a well Job not to disturb the game by eleminating the people.....and Paul was great. We should sent him to Spain for a National Hero ( Oberhausen is a kick far from Netherlands )

I wanted Netherlands to win, but I am happy with the result as Spain were getlemen and played with dignity and skill (they also beat Germany my team fairly)
So enjoy the moment, congratulations and welcome to the winners circle.
Just undestand that Germany will win the next few major cups.
so...now that the World cup is over, I need to work again, anyone got work for me?

We didn't show our best side, and thats wy Robben disappoint us twice, when he was alone in front of the spanish goalkeeper. Normally he made 1 off the 2 chances. And when he did it now then we probably would be celebration today.
But in Spain we have a good world champion, and we licking our wounds for the third time.

Over 30 years but the same feeling. Hopefully Netherlands starts to play football. They have great player over the last tens of years.

strange as it may seem, I was rooting for spain since the very beginning. so much so that I put spain as champion in the bet I placed with my friends.
well done, spain! cheers for playing good football as opposed to using violence to stop a skillful opponent.
p.s.: in brasil it is usual among friends or co-workers to get together before the world cup and place bets on it. each one puts 10 or 20 bucks down and tries to guess the winners and the scores of all games, the times that go on to the finals and the winner. one gets points for getting the winner right, for the right score, etc. I won the "bolão" I entered with some fellow architects and my prize was US$ 120,00. I am still uncertain as to what I am going to invest my little fortune in...

In the Netherlands are coach van Marwijk and captain van Brockhorst, who will retire form soccer, decorated with a award from the dutch queen.
We are one off the country's with not some many citizens like spain/germany etc etc.
And we are proud of our second place, not of the soccer we showed in the final.
